TROY, Alabama – Brandon Hall has been promoted to Troy's defensive coordinator, head coach Chip Lindsey announced Monday afternoon. Hall coached Troy's outside linebackers and served as special teams coordinator last season in his first year with the program.
Hall joined the Troy staff following a four-year stint as co-defensive coordinator at Jacksonville State where his defenses ranked in the top 20 nationally each season, including in the top five his final two seasons.
"I am very appreciative of Coach Lindsey for his trust in me to continue what we've accomplished on the defensive side of the football," Hall said.
