TROY — Blace Brown, following a personal habit, held his hands up as if to shrug off what he had just done.
But what Brown witnessed soon after his interception return for a touchdown last weekend almost had him putting his hands over his eyes.
While the Troy Trojans generally applauded Brown for his effort in a season-opening 24-13 loss at Boise State, Brown was about as generous with graduate assistant strength coach Ben Thebaud.
“We had a deal where if I got a pick-six he would do a dance,” Brown said.
