TROY, Ala. – For the first time since the 2020 season, the Troy Trojans baseball team has started the season 7-0 after a 9-7 win over Stony Brook Sunday afternoon to sweep the Seawolves.
With a 9-2 lead in the top of the ninth, things got a bit shaky for the Trojans (7-0) as Stony Brook plated five runs on four hits and an error to make it a two-run ball game. Troy used three pitchers in the inning, with the third being Noah Manning (2), coming in and earned his second save of the season to preserve the win.
