Auburn advanced to today’s final round of stroke play at NCAA Championship in Sugar Grove, Ill., on Sunday.
The Tigers will start the fourth round one shot behind Virginia for the eighth and final spot that would get them into the match play portion of the national championship at Rich Harvest Farms.
Troy golfer Cam Norman, competing as an individual, survived the individual cut after a round of 77. Norman will play in today’s final individual round. He starts the day tied for 36th overall.
Alabama did not make the team cut as the field went from 30 to the top 15.
