TROY, Alabama – One of the all-time greats at Troy and in the Sun Belt Conference, Ashley Beverly Kelley is a nominee for the 2016 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, the NCAA announced Tuesday afternoon.
Now in its 26th year, the NCAA Woman of the Year award recognizes graduating female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics, community service and leadership.
Beverly Kelley will go down as one of the best players in Troy women's basketball history. The Adamsville, Ala., native is just the fourth player in Troy's history with three all-conference selections, and just the second with multiple first team selections.
