Troy defensive end Hunter Reese, who started college as a walk-on, ends his career in the Dollar General Bowl as a two-time all-conference player. A. Stacy Long, Montgomery Advertiser
MOBILE — With the end upon him, Troy defensive end Hunter Reese remembers the pain before it all even began.
After having a scholarship offer from a Division I-AA school pulled off the table when he was a Wetumpka High senior, Reese walked on at Troy, where he’s turned into a star.
Reese is today a two-time first-team All-Sun Belt player for the Trojans and, as of a week ago, a Troy University graduate.
