TROY — Josh Anderson just started asking questions.
He wanted to know about his Troy teammates and their lives, their goals and aspirations, their problems and fears, their spiritual life and their God.
It was sometime before the 2016 season when the running back began taking a deeper interest in the rest of the Trojans, an interest that has only blossomed during his senior year.
Along the way, Anderson has become almost a father figure among the Trojans, the person they confide in and trust.
“He’s a good Christian man and he knows the Bible left and right,” running back Jordan Chunn said.
