TROY, Ala. – Amara Anderson has been named the Sun Belt Setter of the Week for the second week in a row, the league office announced Monday. This marks the second time in Anderson's career she has received the honor in back-to-back weeks and the fourth time a Trojan has done so in school history.
The sophomore was key in Troy's perfect 3-0 weekend at the Troy invitational, garnering all-tournament honors for the second week in a row.
"We had another very good weekend offensively," head coach Josh Lauer said. "Amara continues to develop and lead our offense in a very positive direction.
