TROY, Ala. – Troy women's basketball's Alexus Dye was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week after averaging 12 points and 15.5 rebounds per game in Troy's two-game road sweep over App State this past weekend.
Dye earned her third player of the week honor of the season, fourth of her career, following an impressive weekend where she recorded back-to-back double-doubles against the Mountaineers, while also setting a new career-high in rebounds with 20. Her 20 rebounds on Saturday are the most by a Sun Belt player this season and is tied for the 15th most nationally in a single game this season.
