MOBILE — Troy quarterback Kaleb Barker’s vengeance was swift, with a quick snap over his leg and a toss into the garbage.
Two months after his season-ending knee injury, he shed his crutches in a most-demonstrative fashion.
“I put those away, broken them in half and threw them in the dumpster,” Barker said, surprised at the ease with which the snapped — or unaware of the eagerness with which he approached the task.
