Despite missing two full games, Marcus Jones racked up enough individual statistics to make first team All-Sun Belt as a kick returner and second team All-Sun Belt as a defensive back.
But numbers don’t mean much to the sophomore from Enterprise. It’s more about comfort and confidence – and he benefitted from both this season.
“I was more experienced,” Jones said about his second year in FBS football. “My freshman year I was out there running around with my head cut off and things like that. This year I played more corner and still some spear, so I was just way more confident.
