Troy offensive lineman Antonio Garcia and defensive lineman Rashad Dillard along with Arkansas State linebacker Xavier Woodson-Luster of Eufaula made the conference’s first team. South Alabama’s Roman Buchanan, a Daleville High graduate, earned second-team honors as a linebacker after spending his first three seasons at the Mobile school as a safety.
Media representatives and the coaches for each school voted for the league’s honors.
Garcia, who was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, enters the 2016 season with 30 career starts, including 24 straight over the past two seasons.
