Wolves are signing Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose to fill the void left by the injury to Raul Jimenez.
The 29-year-old Brazilian was a target for Tottenham last year and Wolves have agreed a loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
In the absence of key striker Jimenez, who is recovering from a fractured skull, the Molineux club had hoped to persevere with Patrick Cutrone following his recall from a loan at Fiorentina.
However, they have only won twice since November and believe the best solution is to bolster their attack.
