Wolfsburg will hold out for their £43m price-tag for Tottenham target Micky Van de Ven, as negotiations between the clubs continue.
The Netherlands U21 star has been on the radar of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou for some time and held positive talks with the Bundesliga side last week.
Spurs have offered £30million plus add-ons for the Netherlands U21 star and had been hopeful that would be enough to secure his services.
However, Wolfsburg will look to push Tottenham for the £43million price-tag which they've set for the central defender.
Spurs have been keen to add a defender to their squad this summer and have been closely monitoring the situation of Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba.
