When Diego Maradona played for Tottenham at White Hart Lane

In case you weren't aware, Tottenham's White Hart Lane stadium is being demolished to make way for a bigger version.

Here, talkSPORT.com looks at when Diego Maradona, the greatest footballer to have ever played the game, donned a Spurs shirt to walk out at the famous stadium in front of 30,000 people.

Why? The Argentina international was appearing for compatriot Ossie Ardiles' testimonial in May 1986, meaning for one night, Tottenham's midfield consisted of Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle, Ardiles and Maradona, who turned up without boots and had to borrow Clive Allen's.

Facing them were Inter, who had former Gooner Liam Brady in their line up, but Spurs won 2-1 thanks to goals from Allen and Mark Falco.
