Speaking to us exclusively from Russia, Christian described the feeling as 'amazing' after his beauty - a left-foot volley from the edge of the box - struck the back of the net to give Denmark the lead against Australia on Thursday. However, the Aussies fought back and it ended 1-1 in Samara.

"It's definitely right up there to score for your country at the World Cup, it's very, very special," said Christian.

"I think I will get the feeling of that later on. Right now, it's just an important goal that we needed!"
