West Ham stars have agreed to take a hit on their wages during the coronavirus pandemic to support non-playing staff, with manager David Moyes and director Karren Brady also reducing their wages.
As football is shutdown while the nation battles the disease, clubs are without the matchday revenue they rely on and some have had to place staff on furlough to keep their finances stable - with Tottenham, Newcastle and Norwich among the clubs to have done so.
But the Hammers are keen to ensure staff receive '100 per cent of their salaries' while the game is suspended, with Mark Noble saying the entire squad wanted to do their bit and help out.
