West Ham are increasingly confident of concluding a deal for Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho after the Portuguese club's Champions League tie with Steaua Bucharest on Tuesday.
West Ham are understood to have offered £29.5million plus £8million in add-ons for the 25-year-old who is keen to move to London and will fly over this week once a fee has been finalised.
