Vincent Janssen should join Fenerbahce on a season-long loan on Friday, potentially marking the end of a nightmare spell at Tottenham.

The 23-year-old joined Spurs last summer as one of Europe's most in-form forwards, but the Netherlands international seems destined to be a remembered as another striker who flopped horribly in north London.

ESPN FC remembers five strikers who have failed at Spurs:

Helder Postiga

Signed from Jose Mourinho's treble-winning Porto team in summer 2003, Postiga was supposed to be one of the continent's most exciting young forwards. The £6.25 million striker lasted less than an hour on his Premier League debut, a dismal 1-0 defeat to Birmingham, and it did not get much better.
