Villarreal are trying to sign Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele in a loan deal and are also interested him his team-mate Giovani Lo Celso.
Ndombele - who became the club's record signing when he joined from Lyon in July 2019 for £63m - was sent back to his former club on loan for the 2021-2022 season.
Ndombele returned to Antonio Conte's side for their pre-season campaign this summer but struggled to cement his place in the Italian manager's fist XI.
