Ugo Ehiogu's family and friends mourn his passing at London funeral as donations to charity page set up in his honour surpass £23,000

A JustGiving page set up in honour of former defender Ugo Ehiogu, who passed away suddenly in April, has hit £23,000.

The news comes ahead of his funeral, which will take place in Highgate, London on Wednesday.

Ehiogu, 44, forged a successful career as a youth coach with Tottenham after retiring from the game in 2009.
