It was a rather quiet window despite the fact that plenty of teams require a player or two to boost their prospects ahead of a crucial part in the campaign. ESPN FC's club correspondents review how their side did this month.

Arsenal basically stayed out of the transfer market this window, as their only signing was a non-league defender for £40,000 and no one left the club permanently. Arsene Wenger wasn't expected to make major reinforcements but had hoped to offload right-backs Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson.
