The 32-year-old endured a miserable two-year spell at Spurs, during which he scored just seven goals in 52 Premier League outings following his £26m move from Valencia.

He left for Villarreal in 2015 and has enjoyed better form back in his homeland, scoring nine goals in 38 La Liga outings.

And now it has been reported that he is ready to leave Spain once again having agreed terms with Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce.

AS has reported that a fee of around £7.25m has been agreed for Soldado, whose current Villarreal deal expires this time next year.
