Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed the club are hoping to tie up a deal for Liverpool and Tottenham target Mariano Diaz.
The 23-year-old managed just 300 minutes of football at Real Madrid last season and he is ready to move on.
Despite his limited game time, the Dominican still bagged five goals last year and he is wanted by Liverpool and Tottenham.
However, Lyon have set their sights on the striker too and they are now working hard to get a deal tied up in the coming days.
"We're analysing both solutions, but we're looking more at a [permanent] transfer," Aulas told L'Equipe.
