The countdown to Christmas has well and truly begun, but some are looking further ahead -- Mauricio Pochettino is already facing weekly questions about his plans for the January transfer window.
He gave the stock response in Thursday's news conference -- the club are open to recruiting if they can find players who will improve the squad -- with the important qualification: "Always in winter it's too difficult to find that profile."
It comes at a time when Tottenham's previous decisions in the market are being questioned, after a poor run of form which has produced just one win in 10 games in all competitions.
