Tottenham's former head of recruitment Paul Mitchell has joined Red Bull Leipzig.
The 36-year-old had been put on gardening leave by Tottenham, who refused to release him from his contract early after he offered his resignation in August 2016.
Mitchell had joined Tottenham from Southampton where he had also worked with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Well revered in the game, he has been linked with roles at Manchester City, Leicester, Chelsea and Rangers before moving to the Bundesliga side this week as their head of recruitment and development.
