Tottenham would miss out on a huge compensation package if former boss Mauricio Pochettino takes over at Newcastle - even if it happens before the end of the season.
Pochettino was relieved of his duties at Spurs back in November, but the club continue to pay his full wages, and now the Argentine is being linked with Newcastle.
But, as reported by the Evening Standard, it has emerged that the Londoners are only due a cash sum in compensation if Pochettino takes a new job within six months - a date which runs out on May 19.
