Kevin Wimmer will consider his Tottenham future in January if he is unable to play more first team football.
Since arriving in 2015, the 23-year-old has become a favourite of the White Hart Lane faithful and stepped in to replace the injured Jan Vertonghen last season where he was impressive alongisde Toby Alderweireld.
"The club say they see me as part of their future," he said, as reported by the Sun on Sunday.
"I played quite often at the end of last season and had higher expectations for this term.
