According to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Tom Coast of Sport Witness), the Serie A side will try to convince Lamela to depart Spurs at the end of the season. The Argentina international has a contract with Tottenham until 2020.
Coast noted links between the Milan club and the 27-year-old date back to 2016, although a long injury layoff endured by Lamela brought an end to such speculation.
Lamela has regained full fitness again this season and has been a part of Mauricio Pochettino's squad in recent months. Spurs are in the hunt for a top-four finish in the Premier League, as well as silverware in the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup.
