Vincent Janssen could be sent back to Tottenham with Turkish Super League giants Fenerbahce considering cutting short his loan spell.
The Netherlands international has struggled with injuries since his arrival in Istanbul and could be ruled out for a further three months with a toe injury.
According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce are looking into the possibility of sending Janssen back if doctors believe the 23-year-old is unlikely to feature again this season.
Spurs are reportedly aware of Janssen's situation and the striker, who has netted just twice in 11 appearances for the Turkish giants, could be set for a return to north London earlier than planned.
