Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to hand Dele Alli his third contract in less than 18 months as they seek to keep their star out of Real Madrid's clutches. Meanwhile, Schalke's Max Meyer has suggested he could leave the Veltins-Arena this summer.
According to Steve Stammers of the Mirror, the Tottenham talisman stands to double the £55,000 per week he currently earns after signing his last contract in September.
It appears Spurs are serious about tying the player down for the long haul, too, as any new deal is alleged to run until 2023 and will see the England international earn at least £40 million over the course of that period.
