Tottenham supporter admits he will miss Champions League match with CSKA Moscow for fear of Russian violence after Euro 2016

A Tottenham supporter says he will not travel to Wembley to watch the club's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow for fear of a repeat of the violence which marred England's match with Russia at Euro 2016.

Spurs take on the Russian champions at the home of English football on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side cannot qualify for the knock-out stage of the Champions League but will secure a place in the Europa League if they avoid defeat against CSKA.

However, the Tottenham fan, who did not want to be named, says he will avoid the match because of his 'terrifying' experience in Marseille, where English and Russian fans clashed in the Stade Velodrome after the 1-1 draw in Group B.
