Tottenham stretch unbeaten run at Wembley Stadium to 12 games after beating Newport County in FA Cup

Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Newport County ensured Spurs fans enjoyed another triumph at Wembley Stadium.

Spurs have overcome their initial struggles at the national stadium by going unbeaten in their last 12 games at their temporary home – winning 10 and drawing two.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have recovered from a 3-2 defeat to West Ham in the Carabao Cup to embark on their unbeaten run at Wembley:

25 November, 2017: Tottenham 1-1 West Brom (Premier League)

6 December, 2017: Tottenham 3-0 APOEL Nicosia (Champions League)

9 December, 2017: Tottenham 5-1 Stoke (Premier League)

13 December, 2017: Tottenham 2-0 Brighton (Premier League)

26 December, 2017: Tottenham 5-2 Southampton (Premier League)

4 January, 2018: Tottenham 1-1 West Ham (Premier League)

7 February, 2018: Tottenham 2-0 Newport County (FA Cup)

Spurs’ recent winning record at the national stadium is in stark contrast to earlier in the season when it took Pochettino’s team four attempts to win their first league game at the venue.
