Tottenham are resuming talks with Middlesbrough for full-back Djed Spence as they look to iron out a £16m fee.
Initial talks were not successful in finding an agreement as the Championship side want at least £15m plus add-ons.
However, Spurs are ready to make a fresh approach, with the defender also determined to join Antonio Conte's squad.

The 21-year-old impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season and has attracted a number of enquiries.
He will also boost Tottenham's homegrown quota with the expectation the transfer will be finalised early next week.
