Tottenham have revealed that they intend to phase out single-use plastic as they plan to open their new stadium.
The north London club are set to move into their 62,000-capacity ground next season and they are introducing measures in an attempt to reduce their single-use plastic footprint.
Tottenham are seeking for more environmentally sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic.
As reported by the club's official website, Tottenham's new stadium will eliminate the use of plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery and all plastic disposable packaging that accompanies these items.
