Tottenham refuse to rule out staying at White Hart Lane next season as work continues on their £800m new home

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has refused to rule out playing home games at their iconic White Hart Lane ground next season, despite the club being granted permission to play at Wembley while building work continues on their new stadium.

The club were last week granted the right to play 27 matches at full capacity under the famous arch next season, as building work continues at their £800million new home ahead of a planned opening in 2018.

But Spurs have yet to take up their option to play at the national stadium, with Levy insisting the club will only leave White Hart Lane when construction of their new 61,000-seater home is far enough advanced.
