Tottenham will make Harry Kane the highest paid English star in the Premier League.
With Manchester City's Raheem Sterling the best paid English player on £180,000-a-week, Spurs face splashing out up to £200,000-a-week to keep their striker.
Kane's £110,000-a-week basic salary ranks him only equal 35th in the list of the League's highest earning stars, as Sportsmail revealed last week, and there is an acceptance Kane's deal no longer reflects his standing in the game.

The 24-year-old is already Spurs' top earner, having signed a new contract tying him down until 2022 in December 2016.
