Tottenham prodigy Marcus Edwards hungry for more first team action after EFL Cup cameo debut

After making his Tottenham debut against Gillingham Marcus Edwards is hungry for more first team action.

The 17-year-old came on the final 15 minutes of Spurs' convincing 5-0 win over the Gills on Wednesday night and looked bright.

Prior to the game the talented Spurs Lodge graduate was talked up by Mauricio Pochettino as one to keep an eye on, the Tottenham chief even going as far as to say that Edwards 'reminds him a bit of Lionel Messi'.
