Tottenham news: Spurs confirm spot in Europa League after beating CSKA Moscow

Mauricio Pochettino's north Londoners overcame Leonid Slutsky's Russian outfit 3-1 at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night to finish Champions League Group E with a victory.

Alan Dzagoev gave CSKA Moscow the lead in the 33rd minute against Tottenham Hotspur, before England international Dele Alli swept home superbly to equalise for Spurs seven minutes before the break.

Premier League Golden Boot winner Harry Kane tapped in to give his side the lead in first-half injury time and a 78th-minute own-goal from CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, following an Alli header, extended the lead.
