Tottenham 'make contact with former Chelsea and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri over taking vacant job from next season' as they eye shock replacement for the sacked Jose Mourinho

Tottenham have reportedly made an approach for Maurizio Sarri as they go on the lookout for a new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho was sacked from his post in north London on Monday, just six days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, following an underwhelming season to date that sees them sit seventh in the Premier League and having crashed out of the Europa League at the last-16 stage.

And according to Football Italia, Spurs have contacted Sarri's representative Fali Ramadani to offer the Italian the job from the beginning of next season.
