The race to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans appears to be hotting up with Tottenham the latest club said to be interested in his signature.
Centre back Evans, 30, has just over a year left on his contract with the Baggies but that deal includes a relegation clause which could see him sold for £3million unless Alan Pardew's side as pull off an unlikely escape.
West Brom are 10 points adrift of safety and, according to The Telegraph, clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United and now Spurs could pounce for Evans if they go down.
