He busted a gut for Spurs in this derby and even though he couldn’t work the magic he usually does, he still provided a threat from his crosses and passing.

A handful down the left, but couldn’t make anything work for him. His final act before being replaced by Erik Lamela was a wild shot that blazed over the bar.

Missed a great chance to put Spurs ahead in the first half, but couldn’t direct his header on target. However, a few minutes into the first half he rose to beat Petr Cech.
