Harry Kane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle and is expected to return to first team training in April, Tottenham have announced.
The England striker suffered the injury during Spurs’ 4-1 victory at Bournemouth on Sunday, being forced off the field in the first-half and later leaving the stadium in a protected boot.
There were claims this week Kane could be ruled out for six weeks.
But Spurs have no confirmed he is facing less than one month on the sidelines and will return to first-team training in April.
