Tottenham are to launch an appeal with the Premier League to award Harry Kane the winning goal from their 2-1 win over Stoke last weekend.
Kane claimed the second goal in the victory at the Bet 365 Stadium, however, the goal was awarded to Christian Eriksen.
The striker is adamant that Eriksen’s free-kick grazed his shoulder en route to the net but the Premier League Goals Accreditation Panel gave the goal to the Dane.
If the goal gets awarded to Kane, his Premier League tally for the season will stand at 25 – four behind top scorer Mohamed Salah.
