LONDON -- Tottenham Hotspur are playing at "60 percent" but will improve in the New Year, defender Danny Rose has said.
Spurs responded to Sunday's defeat at Manchester United with a 3-0 home win over Hull City on Wednesday, keeping them in fifth place and three points behind second-placed Liverpool.
But they won only twice in 11 matches in October and November and crashed out of the Champions League.
"It's fair to say we're probably still in third gear compared to last season," Rose told reporters.
"We haven't hit the heights of last season.
