Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Burnley: Danny Rose scores thumping winner to add to Dele Alli strike as Spurs pile pressure on Premier League top four

Danny Rose scored a 71st-minute winner as Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur beat Sean Dyche's Burnley 2-1 at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Ashley Barnes stabbed home to give Burnley the lead in the 21st minute of the Premier League encounter. Dele Alli replied for the hosts six minutes later, after great work down the right from Kyle Walker.

England international left back Rose then put Spurs in front with a thumping strike before going off injured.
