Cristiano Ronaldo's vintage volley helped ease the pressure on Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Red Devils brushed aside Tottenham to end a run of four Premier League games without victory.
Ronaldo opened up his body superbly to smash Bruno Fernandes' diagonal ball into the area past Hugo Lloris and into the bottom corner from a tight angle just before half-time.
The Portuguese striker turned provider with a through ball to set up Edinson Cavani to clip home United's second before Fernandes also split the Spurs defence open for substitute Marcus Rashford to add a late third.
