Tottenham hoping to expand capacity for Under-23 fixture against Leicester City as club explores options for fans bidding farewell to White Hart Lane

Tottenham are exploring options to avoid thousands of supporters missing out on the chance to say goodbye to White Hart Lane.

Sportsmail can reveal that fans who cannot get a ticket for what could be the final game at the stadium against Manchester United on May 14 are instead planning to attend an Under-23 match 10 days earlier.

However, because of the building work currently taking place at the ground, the capacity for non first-team games is capped at around 2,000.
