Hugo Lloris splashed out £15,000 on a specially-trained guard dog just two weeks before his Tottenham team-mate Dele Alli was robbed at knifepoint.
Alli was held up along with his brother, their partners and another man at his £2million north London home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The England star, who was robbed of jewellery and watches worth thousands of pounds during the incident, was said to have been left 'shaken' after being punched in the face.

The Sun claim that a number of Premier League stars have been snapping up guard dogs from security firms during lockdown, with Manchester United duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard among them.
