Tottenham have been handed an injury boost after it was revealed Jan Vertonghen's injury is not as bad as first feared.
The Belgian defender was expected to be out for two to three months after sustaining ankle ligament damage in the recent win over West Brom.
But manager Mauricio Pochettino says Vertonghen does not require surgery and could be back at the start of March.
Speaking on Thursday, Pochettino said: "Jan is good and hopefully will be back in six weeks, which is ahead of what we first thought.
"The scan showed the injury is not as bad as we first thought.
